Location:

Manchester (Hybrid) Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum

37 hours per week

Contract:

Permanent, Full-time We are working with a well-established professional services organisation in Manchester city centre seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join their finance team. Reporting to the Finance Director, this role will support month-end reporting, balance sheet control, and wider finance operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Balance sheet ownership and month-end reporting (P&L, EBITDA, WIP, debt) Preparation of board-level reports and lock-up metrics Fixed assets, prepayments, accruals, and cashbook journals Monitoring timesheets, billing, and supporting forecasting Supporting the Finance Director, wider finance team, and acquisition reporting Bank payments and assistance with credit control

Key Requirements:

Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or equivalent Proven Management Accountant experience Strong month-end and balance sheet knowledge Professional services industry sector experience or similar is advantageous Why Apply?
