Overview
Peer Support Worker role across three part‑time positions in Manchester. The posts are based at Central Park (North Manchester), Chorlton House (Central and South Manchester).
Responsibilities- Visit individuals and families experiencing a first episode of psychosis to listen, empathise and offer support.
- Provide one‑to‑one support in homes or during walk‑and‑talk activities.
- Learn and apply family therapy skills, hosting meetings with families and facilitating discussion.
- Participate in Open Dialogue meetings, observing, commenting and supporting learning.
- Lived experience of mental health difficulties or supporting a close relative.
- Willingness to share lived experience in a supportive role.
Three locations:
Central Park (North), Chorlton House (Central & South). Up to 22.5 hours per week (0.6 WTE). Aim for 3 set days per week.
All positions require satisfactory pre‑employment checks and a DBS. Enrolment in the DBS Update Service will be required.
