Rotational Clinical Pharmacist – WTWA

Join Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust to work as a Rotational Clinical Pharmacist. Our new HIVE system transforms patient care. You will be initially based at the Wythenshawe and Trafford Pharmacy Department and later rotate across all MFT sites and specialties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cover the Out of Hours Pharmacy Service for the MFT hospitals, further developing clinical pharmacy knowledge and decision‑making skills.
  • Participate in weekly pharmacy‑wide lunchtime teaching sessions.
  • Support the HEE NQPP and postgraduate clinical diploma during the first year.
  • Work with nationally recognised clinical leads across a range of specialties, providing medication optimisation and patient care.
  • Collaborate with hospital teams, solving problems under pressure and communicating effectively.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Registered pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • For those due to complete a Trainee Pharmacist year in July 2026, see the separate advert.
  • Passionate, dedicated, and motivated; confident communicator with enthusiasm for learning and personal development.
