• Perform routine and complex tests in Cellular Pathology, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Provide expert interpretation of laboratory results and deliver high-quality diagnostic data.
• Maintain, calibrate, and operate laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Assist with quality control processes to ensure compliance with standards and protocols.
• Collaborate with pathologists and clinicians to support patient diagnosis and treatment.
• Mentor and supervise junior laboratory staff.

• Degree or diploma in Cellular Pathology or Histopathology.
• Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
• Recent experience as a Band 6 Specialist Biomedical Scientist in Cellular Pathology.
• NHS laboratory experience is desirable.
• No driving licence required.
