Graduate Recruitment Consultant – Healthcare (Permanent)

Due to growth across their Manchester and Portsmouth offices
, they’re hiring Permanent Recruitment Consultants - open to experienced 360 recruiters with permanent recruitment experience
, as well as graduates or trainees who have excelled in a phone-based sales environment
.
This is a warm permanent desk with established clients, but strong business development remains key. You’ll be expected to grow your market, not just maintain it.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing and developing permanent client accounts
- New business development - confident, proactive phone work is essential
- Headhunting, sourcing and screening candidates for permanent roles
- Interviewing and managing candidates through the full recruitment lifecycle
- Writing and posting job content across job boards and social media
- Building long-term relationships with clients across the UK
You’ll work alongside experienced consultants and junior team members in a collaborative, supportive culture, while also liaising with colleagues across other offices.
Full training is on offer for entry level consultants.
About You Experienced Permanent Recruiters- Minimum 12 months in a 360 permanent recruitment role
- Experience must be within permanent recruitment (temporary healthcare backgrounds will not be considered)
- Commercially minded with a consultative approach
- Background in phone-based sales or business development
- Confident picking up the phone and developing new relationships
- Ambitious, resilient and commercially driven
- Self-motivated, hardworking and tenacious
- Passionate about development and long-term progression
- Professional, credible approach
- Motivated by making a real impact within healthcare
- £25k–£30k basic salary (DOE)
- Uncapped commission
- Clear progression with fast-track routes to management
- 3pm Friday finish
- Internal and external professional training
