Graduate Recruitment Consultant – Healthcare (Permanent)

Manchester City Centre

Our client is an award-winning healthcare recruitment business, specialising exclusively in permanent recruitment

Due to growth across their Manchester and Portsmouth offices
, they’re hiring Permanent Recruitment Consultants - open to experienced 360 recruiters with permanent recruitment experience
, as well as graduates or trainees who have excelled in a phone-based sales environment
.

The Role

This is a warm permanent desk with established clients, but strong business development remains key. You’ll be expected to grow your market, not just maintain it.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing and developing permanent client accounts
  • New business development - confident, proactive phone work is essential
  • Headhunting, sourcing and screening candidates for permanent roles
  • Interviewing and managing candidates through the full recruitment lifecycle
  • Writing and posting job content across job boards and social media
  • Building long-term relationships with clients across the UK

You’ll work alongside experienced consultants and junior team members in a collaborative, supportive culture, while also liaising with colleagues across other offices.

Full training is on offer for entry level consultants.

About You Experienced Permanent Recruiters
  • Minimum 12 months in a 360 permanent recruitment role
  • Experience must be within permanent recruitment (temporary healthcare backgrounds will not be considered)
  • Commercially minded with a consultative approach
Graduates / Trainees
  • Background in phone-based sales or business development
  • Confident picking up the phone and developing new relationships
  • Ambitious, resilient and commercially driven
