The SharePoint Administrator is an integral part of Latham’s Technology team. This role will be responsible for designing, configuring, and maintaining the firm’s SharePoint Online platform to support effective collaboration and information management across departments, while administering and supporting the SharePoint Online platform and the organisation’s intranet. This role will be located in our Manchester office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Managing global rights and permissions regarding the SPO sites
- Providing operational support to SharePoint sites in the production environment
- Monitoring portal usage including access, load, and usability, issues daily
- Planning and implementing multiple disaster recovery strategies
- Providing training for IT operators and customers
We’d love to hear from you if you:
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of SharePoint Online architecture, features, and functionality, including security and compliance best practices
- Exhibit a strong understanding of Power Shell and the commands to manage SharePoint Online
- Possess a strong knowledge of SharePoint 2019 On-Premises versions
And have:
- A bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, preferably
- Administrative experience in SharePoint Online Administration
- Experience in Microsoft Visual Studio .NET
- Experience in SQL Server
- Relevant experience with SharePoint 2019 in a professional services environment
