Cloud Automation Engineer

• Support the design and implementation of scalable and secure infrastructure in a hybrid, multi‑cloud environment (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Assist in managing infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Docker.
• Develop and maintain configuration code with a focus on reusability and scalability.
• Participate in the automation of testing and deployment of infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Platform Engineering and other teams to ensure infrastructure meets scalability and resilience requirements.
• Learn and contribute to cloud architecture best practices.
• Help identify opportunities to optimize cloud resource usage and improve efficiency.

• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Basic understanding of automation tools such as Terraform.
• Working knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems and basic networking concepts.
• Interest in working with public cloud providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Experience with or willingness to learn about REST APIs and automation pipelines.
• BSc degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Hands‑on experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure).
• Exposure to monitoring tools like Grafana or Prometheus.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins).
• Basic knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef).
• Interest in tools like Hashi Corp Packer, Vault, or Terraform Cloud.
