We are looking for a dynamic Data & Development Manager to lead our developers and data engineers in building and governing high-impact applications, data platforms and automation solutions. This is a hands-on role combining technical leadership with people management. If you bring strong data engineering expertise, solid software development knowledge and enthusiasm for AI and cloud technology, this is your chance!

The Role:

Are you a proven Data & Development Manager looking to step into an exciting leadership position?

You'll take ownership of an Azure-based data and application ecosystem, settling engineering standards, driving reliable and scalable delivery to assist the evolution of Dev Ops and CI/CD practises. By working closely with Architects, Product Owners and Business Stakeholders you'll ensure solutions are aligned with real business needs and steer the future direction of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and inspire high-performing engineering teams to deliver high-quality data and software solutions
• Own and evolve the Azure engineering platforms and ensuring reliable, well-governed delivery across environments
• Design and shape modern cloud and data architectures, supporting the transition to Microsoft Fabric by ensuring robust data pipelines, integrations and analytics platforms
• Enable the future of AI and automation, guiding the safe adoption of low-code solutions and preparing platforms for AI-driven workloads

Profile:

• Proven technical leader with experience managing and developing teams
• Strong data engineering specialist, hands on knowledge of ETL/ELT pipelines, data modelling, analytics platforms and solid grounding in software development and API-based services
• Cloud and Dev Ops expertise across Azure
• Technically curious and future-focused with exposure to strong interest in Microsoft Fabric, modern data and automation patterns
• Strong stakeholder and delivery focus
