About the RoleOur Resource Management (RM) team ensures we have the right people for the right jobs at the right time in the right places. Resource Management works collaboratively with our business to deliver successful people deployment solutions and build quality client teams with suitable skills and experience. You do not need prior experience in Resource Management although it is preferable to apply for this role.
However a solid understanding of technology roles and which disciplines (AI, Cloud, Data, Software Engineering) exist is essential.
As a Technology Resource Officer you will work alongside a team of resourcing professionals to support Tech Catalyst, our dedicated AI and technology innovation unit, which fast‑tracks technology, AI and data‑driven transformation for both clients and internal delivery.
This role requires an individual comfortable dealing with a wide range of stakeholders in a fast‑paced and changing environment and with a genuine interest in technology. You will partner with stakeholders, using your commercial mindset, business acumen and Management Information (MI) to inform and influence decisions and solutions to common resourcing challenges. The role reports to the Resourcing Manager with the primary aim to maximise deployment whilst creating a better experience for our people.
Thisrole is for you if you have
- Expertise in technology and a strong grasp of digital skills and emerging trends, including the ability to distinguish roles such as Data Scientist and Data Engineer. Core focus areas include AI, Cloud, Data and Software Engineering.
- Experience in the delivery of people deployment and workforce planning solutions using systems and tools such as Talent Link, Dev Ops, Power
BI and Microsoft technologies. - Prior experience in Resource Management is not essential but preferable. Transferable skills from technology recruitment, talent acquisition or workforce coordination within the tech sector are welcomed.
- A strong willingness to learn and adapt to Resource Management practices with a proactive approach to developing new technology skills.
- A genuine interest in emerging technologies, including the use of GenAI or similar tools to enhance and optimise day‑to‑day work.
- Ability to share knowledge and best practice, networking with colleagues across the business and within the Resource Management function.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills with the ability to challenge with humility and build and manage long‑term relationships.
- Able to interpret and analyse MI and data to identify resourcing gaps and support on wider workforce planning goals.
- Ability to manage your own time and workload to meet varying demands, KPIs and deadlines.
