About the RoleWRK digital are proud to partner with a leading consultancy working in the tech for good space, supporting the development of crucial applications within the NHS. We are seeking 3 experienced User Researcher's to join the team on a 3-month inside IR35 contract. This role will focus on delivering user-centred research to inform the design and development of digital services that make a real impact in healthcare.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, design, and conduct user research activities to understand user needs, behaviours, and pain points.
- Develop research strategies and methodologies aligned with project goals and NHS standards.
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative research, including interviews, surveys, usability testing, and contextual inquiries.
- Analyse and synthesise research findings into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and product teams to ensure user needs are embedded in design decisions.
- Create and maintain research documentation, personas, and journey maps.
- Present findings to stakeholders and influence decision-making with evidence-based insights.
- Ensure compliance with accessibility, data protection, and ethical research standards.
- Proven experience as a User Researcher in agile, user-centred design environments.
- Strong knowledge of research methods and usability testing techniques.
- Experience working on public sector or healthcare projects is highly desirable.
- Ability to communicate research findings clearly and persuasively to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with GDS (Government Digital Service) standards and NHS digital guidelines.
- Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
- Experience with remote research tools and techniques.
- Understanding of service design principles.
- Background in accessibility and inclusive design.
