Strong communication, structured thinking and the ability to balance business and technical feasibility are essential.
At AXA you will work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, with an increased remote presence planned in the future.
- Act as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders, ensuring requirements are gathered, clarified and prioritised effectively.

- Produce scoping documents and acceptance criteria to support effective project initiation.

- Collaborate with senior analysts and managers to ensure requirements are feasible, documented and fit for purpose.
- Track delivery progress, provide stakeholders with clear updates and manage expectations around timeline and scope.
- Translate business problems into clear analytical requirements, owning relevant Dev Ops backlog and ensuring tickets are well‑articulated, accurate and up‑to‑date.
- Familiarity with Dev Ops, backlog management and agile delivery methods.
- Awareness of data and analytical tools (Databricks, Python, Power BI) to effectively translate requirements – coding is not required.
- Ability to frame business challenges into structured problems and write clear, actionable requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Organised and proactive in keeping documentation current and in managing multiple competing stakeholder demands.
- Ability to adapt messaging for technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Good understanding of insurance business processes to challenge constructively and ensure solutions align with business values.
- Stakeholder management within the data insights team and externally to wider business stakeholders.
- Confidence to run stakeholder forums and facilitate discussions to resolve conflicting priorities.
- Eligibility and authorisation to work in the United Kingdom.
