Key Responsibilities Support the creation and updating of website content using Word Press and Drupal content management systems Assist with building and maintaining web pages across University websites Ensure content meets accessibility standards and University guidelines Support colleagues with content updates and basic troubleshooting Contribute to maintaining consistent quality and accuracy across web content About the School or About the Department The Web Team sits within the Directorate of Marketing, Recruitment and External Relations and is responsible for managing and developing the University of Salfords digital presence.
The team supports academic schools and professional services by maintaining high-quality, accessible and user-focused websites that help communicate key information to students, staff and external audiences. The team works closely with colleagues across the University to publish and maintain content, improve the user experience and ensure that web standards are met. We are a collaborative and supportive team and provide opportunities for learning, development and practical experience in a busy digital environment.
