Housing Disrepair Solicitor
A growing and forward-thinking law firm with a strong reputation in claimant litigation. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Housing Disrepair Solicitor to join the Manchester-based team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking to develop their career within a supportive environment, handling a varied caseload while benefiting from hybrid working and clear progression opportunities.
The RoleYou will manage your own caseload of Housing Disrepair matters from inception to conclusion, including both pre- and post‑litigation cases. The role will involve:
- Running a caseload of Housing Disrepair files under the Pre‑Action Protocol
- Drafting pleadings, witness statements, schedules of works and schedules of loss
- Issuing and progressing claims through the County Court where required
- Liaising with clients, experts, counsel and opposing parties
- Ensuring compliance with CPR, deadlines and internal procedures
- Delivering a high standard of client care at all times
- Qualified Solicitor with solid experience in Housing Disrepair
- Strong understanding of Housing Disrepair claims and litigation process
- Ability to manage a caseload with minimal supervision
- Confident communicator with excellent client care skills
- Organised, proactive and commercially aware
- Competitive salary of £30,000 – £45,000, depending on experience
