A respected regional law firm is seeking an experienced Costs Draftsman to join its established legal team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive, people-focused practice offering flexible working and genuine career development.

You'll provide expert costs support to fee earners and solicitors, preparing and negotiating costs schedules for Housing Disrepair
,
Statutory Nuisance and related civil claims. You'll also assist in recovering costs efficiently post-settlement and supervise junior costs paralegals within the in-house team.

• Draft and negotiate legal costs for Housing Disrepair and Breach of Contract claims
• Prepare bills and budgets for court hearings
• Liaise with fee earners to ensure accurate, timely cost recovery
• Support and oversee junior team members

• 2 yearsor more of legal costs experience (Costs Master knowledge desirable)
• Strong communication, organisation and attention to detail
• Confident working to deadlines in a busy environment
