WhatYou’ll Do
- Perform reactive and pro‑active mechanical maintenance, repairs, and installations on heating, ventilation, chilled water, and BMS systems, and general building repair duties when required.
- Conduct fault‑finding diagnostics to ensure optimal system performance.
- Work safely under mechanical permit systems and adhere to health & safety regulations.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and statutory inspections.
- Collaborate with the wider team to provide fast and efficient responses to breakdowns.
- Participate in the on‑call roster to provide essential support.
- Use tools, access equipment, and drive company vehicles as required.
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter in a similar role.
- NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering.
- Knowledge of heating, ventilation, and building energy management systems.
- Ability to diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs.
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety regulations, including the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
- Willingness to learn new techniques and share knowledge with colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Full‑time
Department:
Technical Services – Healthcare
- 40 hours per week – Monday to Friday 08:00 – 16:30.
- Opportunity for additional pay through occasional on‑call duties and overtime.
- Circa £36,500.
