A well-established construction consultancy based in Manchester is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager who thrives in a client-facing role and enjoys managing a variety of complex construction projects across sectors including commercial, residential, and education.
The successful Project Manager will work on projects typically ranging from £5m to £30m, ensuring that delivery, budget, and quality expectations are met. This is a fantastic opening for a Project Manager looking to join a collaborative consultancy that offers long-term career development, RICS support, and exposure to high-profile projects across the North West.
The Project Manager's role
The appointed Project Manager will take responsibility for managing the full project lifecycle, from feasibility through to handover. You will coordinate design teams, liaise with clients and contractors, and lead project meetings. The role will involve both pre- and post-contract project management and require a strong understanding of construction delivery and procurement.
This role will also include the preparation of project programmes, risk management plans, and progress reports. You'll work closely with Senior Project Managers and Associates, while developing your own client relationships and contributing to business development.
The Project Manager
Degree qualified in a relevant subject (Construction Management, Project Management, Quantity Surveying, etc.)
Minimum 3 years' consultancy experience in the UK construction sector
Strong technical knowledge of construction project life cycles
Ideally working towards or already Chartered (RICS/APM/MCIOB)
Excellent client-facing and communication skills

£42,000 - £50,000 per annum
