About this job

This role offers the chance to shape organisational development and leadership across Greater Manchester Combined Authority and Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service. You will deliver OD activities, develop leadership training, embed equality and diversity, manage data systems, and provide excellent customer service to staff and partners.

Responsibilities
  • Design, deliver, and evaluate OD activities, including leadership development, employee engagement, and team development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and external partners to deliver impactful projects that drive performance and service improvement.
  • Coordinate leadership and management training, ensuring people management skills are embedded throughout the organisation.
  • Champion equality and diversity by coordinating OD approaches that champion equality and diversity at all levels.
  • Maintain and enhance data management systems to support delivery and provide robust evidence for OD and Leadership services.
  • Deliver excellent customer service as the front face of the OD & Leadership Team, creating a positive and supportive environment for staff and partners.
Qualifications
  • Strong communicator, organised and adaptable.
  • Demonstrable experience delivering excellent customer service and supporting high-volume activities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong digital skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional standards.
  • Commitment to equality, diversity, and continuous learning, demonstrating curiosity and a drive for innovation.
  • Willingness to work flexibly, including remote and in-person meetings, in line with the organisation’s hybrid working policy.
