Production Line Leader – AM Shift at Duxvalves

We are an established manufacturer of MDF products, seeking an experienced production line leader to manage our AM shift operations.

Contract
: 38 hour contract permanent, 9.5 hour day (30‑minute unpaid break). Working Mondays to Thursdays 2:55 pm – 12:55 am.

Salary
:
Up to £16.84 ph / £33,275 DOE.

• Ensure each production line meets daily and weekly targets.
• Manage line manpower and maintain correct staffing levels.
• Report breakdowns to maintenance and ensure swift resolution.
• Maintain product quality to meet customer expectations.
• Ensure compliance with company H&S policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with the team to target zero accidents.
• Contribute to capital investment planning.
• Complete daily and weekly PPM records.

• Previous team leader experience in a similar manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Weinig Powermat, Hydromat or equivalent machine settings (preferred).
• Strong motivational and team‑leading skills.
• Excellent communication skills with maintenance and other departments.
• Ability to cover tool‑room duties when required.
