Work pattern: 4 on 4 off, 2 days, 2 nights (after a period of training, the role will operate on 2 days, 2 nights, 4 days off)

• Take responsibility for ensuring all aircraft tooling is controlled, stored, packed, handled and located correctly, while adhering to published engineering procedures and maintaining high safety standards
• Carry out routine inspections of aircraft tooling and perform minor maintenance; dispatch defective tooling for repair or calibration
• Maintain records of all transactions accurately
• Liaise with internal and external departments and suppliers
• Action Tooling Change Bulletins and Tooling Equipment bulletins as appropriate
• Uphold the Tooling department’s mission: “Right Tool, Right Place, Right Time”

• Excellent organisation and communication skills; maintain a clean and tidy work environment
• Experience with tooling equipment; ideally an understanding of the aviation sector
• Knowledge of tooling/stores processes
• Technical mindset and pragmatic, proactive approach
• Ability to prioritise in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Continuous Improvement mindset
• Willingness to be flexible and support operational needs
• Excellent attention to detail
• Full UK driving license
