FLT Counterbalance Driver

About The Job

We are recruiting an FLT Counterbalance Driver to work at a global supplier of adhesives, specialty binders, coatings and surfactants located in Trafford Park, Manchester. The driver is responsible for ensuring the materials coming onto site and leaving site are correct, safe and in good condition to support health and safety and meet customer expectations for quality and service.

• Assist in the timely and accurate preparation and loading of customer orders.
• Drive and operate the FLT Counterbalance.
• Perform equipment checks and basic maintenance.
• Assist and supervise load & off‑load of raw materials, semi‑finished products and finished goods.
• Carry out production in accordance with the production schedule to ensure continuous deliveries that meet customer satisfaction.
• Ensure raw materials and semi‑finished products are ready prior to start of production.
• Supervise correct storage of finished products.
• Start and monitor production process.
• Daily supervise production supporting services (cleaning, calibration, etc).
• Process production‑related administration in ERP or other applicable software.
• Commit to keep a clean and orderly shop floor.
• Ensure oral and written communication at production shift changes.
• Insist on staff wearing personal protection and set a good example.

Experience in a production environment is desirable.

FLT Counterbalance licence and experience is essential.

2 weeks rotating shifts:

• 06:00 – 14:30 (2 weeks)
• 09:00 – 18:30 (2 weeks)
