Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for a Digital Delivery Manager to join our growing team.

Base location for this role can be flexible – UK travel is required.

• Develop and manage Project Digital budget
• Educate people, develop & implement the Project Execution Plan and use technology during stages 1 – 8 to develop models integrated into design, construction, and facilities operation/maintenance
• Utilise models to inform risk management in terms of both Commercial and Health & Safety risks
• Review the Employers Information Requirements (EIRs) and advise the Work Winning/Delivery team of contract deliverables, Digital programme, Digital resources and supply chain capabilities / requirements to be included within the Balfour Beatty tender
• Engage early with all stakeholders to develop the projects Digital Strategy, Digital Execution Plan and Customer goals to match the EIRs
• Work with the Project Team to deliver the Project Digital Strategy, Digital Execution Plan and Customer’s goals
• Engage early with all stakeholders via the Projects Common Data Environment
• Before construction commences mobilisation, engage with the project team to implement people/processes/culture/technology for the Construction phase and limit / mitigate potential conflicts before site execution gate stage
• Use digital tools that promote CDM Regulation and Zero Harm compliance, e.g., the use of PAS 1192/6
• Use and develop the Project Information Model Graphical and Non Graphical (3D Model) with the supply chain
• Implement processes/culture/technology to link Programme to the Detailed Design Model (4D) for Construction and own/support
• Implement processes/culture/technology to link costs to the Model (5D) for Construction and own/support
• Implement processes/culture/technology to create an As Built model for Handover and Commissioning and own/support
• Link Asset Information/data to the model to produce a 6D Model for Handover and Commissioning and own/support
• Implement processes/culture/technology for Digital Site Management Techniques / mobile technology to deliver progressive assurance procedures
• Research, develop, implement, review new ways of working which will benefit the project by increasing efficiency, reducing cost, improving quality, sustainability and aiming for Zero Harm
• Promote Balfour Beatty to its Customers and business partners

• Professional membership is desirable
• BSc, MSc, BEng, MEng, HND/HDC or qualified by experience with an understanding and proven delivery of infrastructure or building managing multiple processes / schemes
• NVQ – Level 5 or 2‑5 years of project / educational experience
• Demonstrated technical ability with the use of Digital Software applications
• Experience of training others and mentoring all variations of Digital Technicians and Digital Engineers
• Understanding of the latest industry guidelines for Digital project delivery such as BS and PAS
• Technician membership achieved, approaching next level of professional membership
• Good communication skills with an ability to form effective relationships with project stakeholders
• Able to work under time pressure
• Experience of working collaboratively with the project teams, supply chain partners and customers
• Proficiency in IT and numeracy
• Demonstrable track record of delivering a high‑quality product to tight deadlines
• Primary software skills in model authoring relative to project requirements
• Valid CSCS card

• Understanding of Design, Construction, Surveying and Asset Management
• Presentation and meeting organisation / leading coordination sessions
• Experience with Autodesk and/or Bentley applications
• GIS application experience
• Synchro Software or similar experience or equivalent
• Model verification application
• Progressive Quality, short‑interval control and model coordination applications – i.e., BIM 360 Suite / Bentley
• Qualifications or experience to meet project requirements
