Job Role: Mobile Response Officer / Break Relief (Security)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday,7:00-19:00 – 60 hours per week

Pay: £12.60 per hour

Location: Manchester/ Salford area

Reporting to: Operations Manager

Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Anchor Group Services,for a Mobile Response Officer / Break Relief to join our team covering multiple locations across the Manchester and Salford area.

As Mobile Response Officer / Break Relief you will play a key role in providingmobile support across multiple sites within the Manchester and Salford area.

You will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations across multiple sites, responding promptly to incidents, and maintaining a strong, professional presence acrossour client’s sites. While travelling between sites, you will communicate effectively with site management and members of the public, uphold site security standards,and accurately record all activities in line with operational procedures.

In addition to your mobile duties, you will also provide breakrelief cover for reception teams at various office locations in the Salford Quays area.

A full UK driving licence and a valid SIA Licenceare essential, along with excellent customer service skills andthe ability to adapt quickly to different environments and tasks.

Duties include:

  • Protecting the client’s property, people and/or assets by providing security services in direct accordance with the sites published

    Assignment Instructions (AI’s) and site-specific procedures
  • Preventing losses and damage by reporting irregularities;informing offenders of policy and procedures
  • Preventing and escalating incidents in a timely, accurate and appropriate manner to the Control Room/ Shift Manager/Operations Manager/Emergency Services as appropriate for serious incidents
  • Provide mobile support across multiple sites in the Manchester and Salford areas by travelling between locations as required
  • Adapt quickly and appropriately to different environments andtasks while maintaining a strong security presence
  • Respond promptly and appropriately to incidents or operational requirements
  • Provide break relief cover at various office locations in the Salford Quays area - Covering reception duties during staff breaks, includinggreeting visitors and managing access
  • Completing reports by recording observations, information,occurrences, and surveillance activities
  • Maintaining organisation's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements
  • Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related resultsas needed
  • Acting as a first line support to customers and visitors tosite, providing a professional and friendly service
  • Understanding the needs of our customer, respond accordingly to customer queries and requests and take appropriate action
  • Maintaining professionalconduct at all times
Requirements
  • Full 5-year employment checkable history –
    ESSENTIAL
  • Full UK driving licence
    - ESSENTIAL
  • Valid frontline SIA licences DS or SG
    - ESSENTIAL
  • Customer service experience and confidence to handle conflictin a correct manner
  • Flexible to meet the job requirements
