This role sits at the intersection of hands‑on engineering and architectural leadership. You’ll guide delivery, and embed performance, resilience, and scalability into everything we build.

• Own the solution architecture for a large‑scale, distributed, event‑driven platform
• Design systems using Kafka, SQL, and cloud‑native patterns (AWS / GCP)
• Lead technical strategy, standards, and key architectural decisions
• Partner with product and engineering leaders to turn vision into reality
• Mentor teams and influence build vs buy, performance, and scalability choices

• Experience architecting high‑volume, distributed systems
• Strong background in event‑driven architecture
• Hands‑on experience with C#, .NET, Golang, or Type Script, plus databases/SQL
• A balance of big‑picture thinking and practical technical leadership
• Exposure to platform modernisation, rebuilds, or migrations
• Curiosity or experience with AI‑driven solutions

• Real ownership of architectural direction during a full platform transformation
• Build the backbone of a fast‑scaling, international tech business
• Hybrid working from Manchester or Staffordshire
