Senior Software Engineer
Salary: From £63,000 plus management bonus and Bupa benefits
Contract type: Permanent
Shift pattern: Full-time – 37.5 hours per week
Location: Hybrid – 1 day in Manchester or London office per week.

Role Overview: As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll work within the Group Information Systems team, focusing on People Soft FSCM support and related technologies. You'll have the autonomy to deliver complex technical solutions, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure robust integration strategies across our systems.
How You’ll Help Us Make Health Happen- Design and develop solutions for ERP applications (People Soft)
- Work with technologies such as Java, SQL, XML, and relational databases
- Manage integration architectures, including REST APIs
- Collaborate in a Dev Ops environment and support cloud-based solutions (IaaS/PaaS)
- Partner with software vendors and internal teams to deliver high‑quality outcomes
- Support initiatives involving Blackline and other financial systems
- 5+ years of technology architecture experience with a focus on ERP applications (People Soft)
- Current senior software engineer experience
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and make impactful decisions
- Background in Dev Ops and cloud environments
- Experience in Blackline
- Experience in integration strategies and REST APIs
- Strong knowledge of Java, SQL, XML, and relational databases
