Are you looking for an opportunity to make a real impact within a fast-growing fintech company undergoing an exciting technology transformation?

As part of a motivated and collaborative development team, you’ll play a pivotal role in enhancing and modernising the company’s tech stack. This involves building a robust backend API, integrating third-party platforms, and rolling out innovative features to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.

This is a PHP Laravel-focused position, but it also offers the opportunity to work with a diverse tech stack and contribute to a high-performing, scalable, and secure platform.

• Develop and maintain a robust backend API using PHP Laravel.
• Enhance the platform with innovative new features that align with the product roadmap.
• Seamlessly integrate third-party APIs into the system.
• Collaborate with Dev Ops engineers to optimise deployment pipelines and platform scalability.
• Support application deployment and maintenance in a .Net / Azure environment.

• Advanced experience with PHP and Laravel.
• Strong understanding of SOLID design principles.
• Proficiency in MySQL, with a focus on database optimisation.
• Strong understanding of API design and development.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.

• Familiarity with modern Dev Ops practices, including Docker or Kubernetes.
• Experience with Azure services for application hosting and management.
• Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and CI / CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Knowledge of Atlassian tools like Jira and Bitbucket.
