Salary: Up to £60,000 DOE

Location: Manchester

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Embedded Software Engineer to join one of the UK’s leading technology and design consultancies, based in the heart of Manchester. You’ll be part of a growing, multidisciplinary engineering team delivering innovative software solutions across a diverse range of sectors, including IoT, Automotive, Medical Devices, Green Energy, and Industrial Automation.

This position offers exposure to the full software development lifecycle, from early concept and system design through to implementation and deployment. You’ll work alongside engineers from a variety of technical backgrounds, contributing to modern, high‑quality software solutions using open‑source technologies.

• Strong proficiency in C
• Experience with at least one additional language such as C++, Python, Rust, or Java
• Solid experience working in Linux‑based environments
• Familiarity with open‑source technology stacks
• Understanding of modern software development practices and workflows
