Active Spaces Manager
Location:Salford Quays
About the role:The Active Spaces Manager will manage the day-to-day operations of the onsite gym; including the delivery of onsite and virtual classes, gym inductions, fitness programming etc… and work closely with various departments within Bupa to create and deliver the internal wellbeing strategy. The successful candidate will the wellbeing ambassador within Bupa, representing Westfield Health, aiming to inspire others and a key enabler for healthy change.
Yourresponsibilities:
- Day to day running, management and coordination of the onsite Active Spaces (gym and R&R, active meeting rooms).
- Deliver a hybrid of onsite and virtual delivery of group ex. classes, 1-1 and group session at all levels.
- Delivering ad-hoc individual/group health screening and workshops on a diverse range of wellbeing topics, facilitating health improvement with a non-judgemental and motivational approach.
- Work with the Bupa wellbeing team and our team at Bupa Staines to assist the development/delivery, and role model the Bupa wellbeing calendar.
- Conducting initial assessments & 1 to 1 review sessions at regular intervals to ensure user engagement and minimise drop-outs. Update training plans and/or re-evaluating clients as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Reporting various metrics to monitor the utilization and performance of the Active Space and wellbeing initiatives, such as attendance, engagement, outreach efforts, and activity level.
- Play an active role in the delivery, creation and improvement of our wellbeing initiatives such as MHFA, office energisers, and wellbeing workshops.
- Build and sustain relationships with the key external stakeholders
- Currently hold an industry certificate such as Level 3 Diploma in Personal Training/Fitness Instructing and Personal Training
- Degree in Sports Coaching, Sport Exercise Science or similar would be beneficial
- Salary - £29,000 per annum
- 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday
- 25 days annual leave plus 1 in lieu of Christmas period
