FLT Driver

Counterbalance FLT Drivers required working Mon‑Fri for a leading logistics company based at Manchester airport with free parking onsite, Temp to Perm with set shifts. Own transport is essential.

PM: 4pm-1am (Apply online only) - Monday to Friday with one hour unpaid break.

£13 per hour + overtime over 40 hours per week paid at x1.5 rate (£18.00 per hour).

• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Building and breaking down aircraft pallets (manual handling)
• Driving the FLT approx 30% of the time
• A performance driven operation with tight deadlines

• Valid and in date Counterbalance FLT License
• Warehouse Operative experience ideally
• Ability to work in a targeted environment
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, and be physically fit to manually lift heavy items
• Excellent attention to detail

You will need your own form of transport due to no public transport will run at 1am from this location.

The role requires candidates to undergo a basic DBS check and provide verifiable 5 years worth of employment/education history as part of the process due to the nature of the client. This is free of charge as Meridian Business Support covers the cost.
