HGV Class 2 Driver People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Swindon, Wiltshire . This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay with long-term prospects for growth and progression. Shifts
• Monday to Friday
• AM Drivers: 03:30 – 05:00 start times
• PM Drivers: 14:30 – 16:00 start times Rates of Pay
• Basic: £17.00 per hour

• Employee well-being programme Day-to-Day Duties Your duties as a HGV Class 2 Driver will include (but not be limited to):
• Operating and driving Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently to and from delivery locations
• Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Ensuring all cargo is loaded and secured correctly
• Adhering to traffic laws and regulations
• Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers
• Reporting vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
• Assisting with loading and unloading of cargo when required Essential Skills To be successful as a HGV Class 2 Driver , you will need:
• Valid UK Category C Licence
• Minimum 24 months experience driving Category C vehicles
• No more than 6 penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsements
• Valid UK CPC Card and UK Digi Card
• Good level of spoken and written English
• Excellent punctuality and timekeeping
• Strong understanding of traffic laws and regulations
• Effective communication skills

Desirable Experience
• Experience driving commercial vehicles
• Previous multi-drop experience Training Provided
• Driver assessment required
