Quantity Surveyor | Nottinghamshire

Elevation Recruitment Group are working with an established residential developer to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team.

This is a great opportunity for a commercial professional who enjoys working closely with site and regional teams, with scope to support and mentor junior colleagues as the business continues to grow.

• Manage build and infrastructure costs, cash flow, variations and budgets at site and plot level
• Administer subcontractor and third-party agreements, ensuring contractual compliance
• Support and mentor Assistant Quantity Surveyors
• Procure subcontract packages in line with company procedures and best value principles
• Produce cost and budget analysis and advise site teams on cost control opportunities
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

• Quantity Surveying qualification or strong industry experience
• Experience using COINS
• Good understanding of construction methods and commercial controls
• Knowledge of relevant construction regulations and standards
• Strong communication, teamwork and stakeholder management skills
• Willingness to travel to sites as required
