Part Time Accounts Assistant

Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 FTE (pro rata for part-time)

Hours:

Full-time or part-time (3 days per week considered)

We are working with a well-established insurance business based in Mansfield who are looking to recruit a reliable and detail-focused Accounts Assistant. This is a flexible opportunity, open to both full-time and part-time candidates, offering a supportive environment and varied day-to-day responsibilities.

This role would suit someone with solid transactional finance experience who enjoys working as part of a close-knit team.

• Processing purchase and sales invoices
• Bank reconciliations
• Credit control and allocation of payments
• Assisting with month-end processes
• Maintaining accurate financial records
• Supporting the wider finance team with general accounts administration

• Previous experience in an accounts or finance assistant role
• Confident using accounting software and Excel
• Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team
• Experience with in insurance or financial services would be advantageous, but not essential

• Salary of £28,000 - £30,000 FTE (depending on experience)
