The Role
We are working with a well‑established insurance business in Mansfield and are looking to recruit a reliable, detail‑focused Accounts Assistant who enjoys working as part of a close‑knit team and has solid transactional finance experience.
Key Responsibilities- Processing purchase and sales invoices
- Bank reconciliations
- Credit control and allocation of payments
- Assisting with month‑end processes
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Supporting the wider finance team with general accounts administration
- Previous experience in an accounts or finance assistant role
- Confident using accounting software and Excel
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team
- Experience with in insurance or financial services would be advantageous, but not essential
- Salary of £28,000 – £30,000 FTE (depending on experience)
- Flexible working hours (full‑time or 3 days per week)
- Stable, established business
