Kingdom Group has a great opportunity for a Security Officer to join our team. The Security Officer is responsible for providing a secure environment within the facility, balancing excellent customer service with security tasks to ensure safety while also addressing the needs and concerns of visitors and staff.

• When: We’re looking to get the right person in to the team ASAP!
• Salary: £12.21 per hour.
• Hours: On average 56 hours per week, working 6 days on, 3 days off.
• Shift patterns: 05:00-17:00.

• Greet and assist visitors and employees in a professional and friendly manner.
• Manage the sign‑in/out process, check identification, and issue visitor passes.
• Maintain visitor logs and ensure no unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Monitor and control building access points, ensuring only authorized individuals enter.
• Implement proper security protocols to handle breaches or suspicious behavior.
• Conduct regular patrols of the building and surrounding areas to identify any security risks.
• Monitor security systems, including CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and access control.
• Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances or suspicious activities.
• Respond to emergencies, including medical incidents, fires, or safety hazards.
• Report and document any security incidents, breaches, or suspicious activities in detail.

• Excellent communication & customer service skills.
• Professional approach, with balanced judgement and keen eye for detail.
• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential.
• A valid SIA DS licence or be in the process of applying for one.
• A full five‑year checkable employment history.
