£28,000 - £29,000 per annum, depending on experience

Full UK Driving Licence Essential

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Warehouse & Material Handler to support their operational and site-based teams. This role involves working across both warehouse and office environments, ensuring materials, equipment and PPE are managed efficiently to support safe and effective site operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles as required
• Use a forklift truck and other equipment safely to move, load and unload goods (training provided if needed)
• Perform daily manual handling duties, including lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling equipment and materials
• Work safely from ladders when required
• Receive deliveries, check goods against orders and book into stock or allocate to contracts
• Maintain accurate stock records and update systems with goods in/out, contract details and supplier orders
• Liaise with suppliers and management regarding stock, equipment, returns, calibration and inspections
• Assist with Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) and ensure all equipment and PPE are inspected, tracked and stored correctly
• Ensure warehouse is clean, organised and stocked with essential materials, including paints, adhesives, resins, cement, oils and fibre rope

Skills & Experience Required

• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• Good general fitness due to manual handling requirements
• Confident computer skills for stock control and ordering systems
• Confident telephone manner and communication skills
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent IT skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Training

Full training will be provided on internal systems, equipment tracking portals, company procedures and all role-specific requirements.
