Overview

Pacific Eye Doctors, an independent full-service practice with a 40-year legacy, is inviting a talented optometrist to join our team to cover a scheduled leave for one of our eight optometrists. This is an opportunity to join a well-respected clinic and contribute to top-notch eye care in the community.

We offer a strong patient-focused environment with an emphasis on comprehensive care and cutting-edge technology.

• Provide optometric care to patients during scheduled leave coverage, including routine examinations, contact lens prescriptions, and co-management as appropriate.
• Utilize state-of-the-art facilities and equipment (e.g., AR, Ks, NCT, biometry, topography, pachymetry, Optos, OCT, FDT) to support comprehensive patient care.
• Collaborate with a team of 8 optometrists and staff to maintain high-quality service and patient satisfaction.
• Engage in ongoing patient education and ensure adherence to practice standards and protocols.

• Clinic operates 6 days per week, including Wednesday and Thursday evenings.
• Leave coverages include various Saturdays, Thursday mornings & Fridays, Tuesdays, and Thursday afternoons/evenings within specified date ranges.

This position may serve as a foot in the door to a broader opportunity within a practice with an exemplary culture.

• Licensed optometrist in good standing.
• Experience or interest in pediatrics, children’s vision, myopia management, dry eye, and glaucoma is especially valued.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
