Sanitization Operator; Day Shift

Overview

Position: Cleaning Specialist – Industrial Containers (Entry-level)

Type: Permanent Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)

Schedule: Sunday to Thursday 10:15 pm – 6:15 am

Pay: $20.45 – $23.14 per hour

This role involves cleaning large industrial containers used to store manufacturing materials such as powders, tablets, and capsules. The employee utilizes a powered pallet jack to transport used containers from different floors of the production area, cleans them with industrial equipment, and delivers them back to the production floor. Efficient cleaning is critical to prevent production disruptions.

• Competently operate the tunnel washer and bin washer individually
• Clean and wash pails/buckets, drums/barrels, and lids for manufacturing use
• Ensure good housekeeping around the working area
• Work in other departments or perform other duties as required and assigned by the Manager/Supervisor or Lead Hand
• Strictly adhere to and observe all safety policies as outlined in the company policies and training sessions

• Experience in manufacturing or sanitization (an asset)
• Ability to operate a manual or power pallet jack
• Ability to fluently speak and read English
• Understanding of cleaning agents, their proper usage, and handling protocols
• Ability to lift up to 33 lbs (15 kgs)
