Build software testing expertise with WISI in Pitt Meadows through hybrid work, using Python, Selenium, and CI/CD automation.
This eight-month Software QA Test Developer Co-op suits a local final-year Computer Science or Engineering student. You will support carrier-grade video transcoder testing across embedded firmware and front-end applications. The work includes black-box, white-box, and chaos engineering methods, alongside collaboration with developers and QA professionals.
Key Responsibilities:- Build and maintain deployment and testing automation tools
- Define test plans and strategies based on project goals
- Write clean, reliable, maintainable testing code
- Manage tasks, timelines, and resources effectively
- Track quality metrics and report defects clearly
- Final-year undergraduate Computer Science or Engineering student
- Strong experience with Python, Java, and Bash scripting
- Understanding of asynchronous and multi-threaded code
- Familiarity with C/C++, Selenium, or embedded systems preferred
- Greater Vancouver residency and commute to Pitt Meadows required
