This eight-month Software QA Test Developer Co-op suits a local final-year Computer Science or Engineering student. You will support carrier-grade video transcoder testing across embedded firmware and front-end applications. The work includes black-box, white-box, and chaos engineering methods, alongside collaboration with developers and QA professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain deployment and testing automation tools
Define test plans and strategies based on project goals
Write clean, reliable, maintainable testing code
Manage tasks, timelines, and resources effectively
Track quality metrics and report defects clearly
Requirements:
Final-year undergraduate Computer Science or Engineering student
Strong experience with Python, Java, and Bash scripting
Understanding of asynchronous and multi-threaded code
Familiarity with C/C++, Selenium, or embedded systems preferred
Greater Vancouver residency and commute to Pitt Meadows required
