Support Worker March

In this rewarding role, you’ll be supporting individuals based on their own needs, including personal care, manual handling, assisting with daily routines, participating in activities, and using a person‑centred, Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) approach to help manage behaviours that may be challenging.

At our service in March, the people we support enjoy getting out and about, which can include trips out in the community doing activities such as shopping, meals out, and enjoying walks in nature.

• Part‑time and relief roles available – flexibility with hours you’re looking for.
• Shifts can vary between 7 am–10 pm, so flexibility is essential.

• All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references.
• Equality Act 2010 – this position does not meet the minimum salary requirements for a Health and Care visa under the UK Skilled Worker route; therefore, Mencap is unable to offer sponsorship for this role. Applicants must already have the legal right to work in the UK.
