Waste & Recycling Assistants

Overview

Pay: £12.21 per hour - rising to £12.85 p/h after 12 weeks.

Shifts:

Monday to Sunday, between 6:00 AM - 8:00 PM. Flexible, ongoing work available weekly. Are you hard-working, punctual, and reliable? Looking for ongoing work in your local area with a supportive team?

Due to the early start times, please only apply if you are based in Thanet. We're looking for dedicated Waste and Recycling Assistants to join a vital public service team in Thanet. If you enjoy being active, working outdoors, and making a real difference in the community, we want to hear from you!

• Support waste collection and recycling operations in Thanet
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Operate as part of a fast-paced, friendly team
• Follow clear instructions to ensure smooth operations

• Reliable and flexible team players
• Able to get to Margate by 5:45 AM (must not rely on public transport)
• Good communication skills and a strong work ethic
• Willingness to work early starts or late finishes as needed
• Experience in open-space or outdoor roles is a plus
• All applicants must be over the age of 18
