Design Manager

I am looking for an experienced Design to join a Tier 2 industrial construction company with a strong pipeline of new-build projects.

Our client is seeking a talented and driven professional to lead and coordinate design activities across a variety of industrial schemes, including steel-framed buildings, concrete cladding, and large-scale industrial sheds.

As Design Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the design process from pre-construction through to delivery. You'll work closely with engineers, subcontractors, and the internal project team to ensure all design information is accurate, compliant, and delivered on time.

Manage and coordinate the full design process for industrial construction project

Lead design meetings and ensure effective communication between all stakeholders

Review and approve technical drawings, specifications, and design documentation

Identify design risks and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations

Support pre construction and estimating teams with technical input where required

What We're Looking For

Proven experience as a Design Manager within industrial, commercial, or steel-framed projects

Strong understanding of steel frames, industrial building systems, and concrete cladding

Excellent coordination, communication, and technical review skills

Ability to manage multiple projects at different stages of design

Competence in reviewing drawings, specifications, and structural information

Salary up to £75,000 (depending on experience)
