This position is located in Mississauga and will be an integral part of the daily operations at our Aviva Auto Care Centre.

- De-grease, remove dirt, old paint or rust from vehicle surfaces to prepare for paint application.
- Mix paint pigments to match color specifications or the vehicle’s original colors.
- Implement paint mixes specified by automotive paint engineers.
- Pour paint into spray guns and adjust nozzles and paint mixes for proper paint flow and coating thickness.
- Operate automated body paint systems for various types of vehicles.
- Ensure painting processes are performed efficiently and cost‑effectively.
- Assist in the development of new paint processes and procedures.
- Monitor painting operations to identify flaws such as blisters and streaks and correct their causes.
- Ensure repairs flow through the workshop and identify issues leading to failure.
- Understand repair methodology.
- Act as a collaborative team member focused on the customer.
- Deliver on promises made to customers, minimizing vehicle downtime.
- Maintain quality and technical standards within the Paint area.
- Promote Aviva Auto Care Centre values and goals.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with in the automotive repair industry.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong knowledge of automotive/equipment preventative maintenance, refurbishment and repair practices and procedures.
- Adaptability and openness to change with a proactive mindset in embracing new work practices and technologies.
- Proficiency using body shop management systems; knowledge of Body Shop Connect preferred.
- Excellent organizational, time management and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to multi‑task.
- Commitment to a culture of continuous improvement.
- Efficient communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Detail‑oriented approach with an emphasis on quality control.
- Ability to take direction and perform well under pressure.
