We are looking for a dedicated Estimator to be an integral part of the daily operations at our Aviva Auto Care Centre located in Mississauga
.

In this role, you will review and conduct pre‑assessment of auto repair estimates in line with company and auto body shop standards and guidelines.

• Control the method and cost of repairs to vehicles by using established industry regulatory practices and corporate guidelines
• Complete Total Loss evaluations through market and Autosource search
• Conduct remote appraisals
• Make decisions that positively impact the site and the customer
• Act as an active team member who encourages a collaborative working environment focused on the customer and what matters to them
• Promote Aviva Auto Care Centre values and goals

• Post‑secondary education
• 2-5 years auto estimating experience including repair planning experience
• Strong experience and knowledge with motor vehicle repairs, and prior estimating experience
• Familiar with industry standard estimating systems
• Good technical aptitude with databases/systems
• Strong understanding of automotive mechanics and repair procedures
• Demonstrates adaptability and openness to change with a proactive mindset in embracing new work practices and technologies
• Proficiency using body shop management systems; knowledge of Body Shop Connect preferred
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Commit to an environment of continuous improvement
• Genuine curiosity and inquisitive mindset, constantly looking to make things better for customers and colleagues
• Excellent customer service skills
• Can work to and positively contribute to our organizational culture and values
