What you’ll do:
  • Develop predictive models for in-depth analysis and improve existing models and processes
  • Collaborate with Business Development on broker initiatives
  • Consolidate analyses from various centers of excellence to formulate pricing proposals for rate changes
  • Work closely with the Personal Insurance team to meet regional and channel mandates
  • Research and apply traditional and innovative actuarial techniques to business challenges
  • Develop pricing techniques supporting regional needs and provide pricing support for personal insurance products
  • Prepare and support regulatory rate filings, documenting actuarial processes and models
  • Manage special projects, overseeing technical design, scope, timelines, and communication
  • Coach junior staff and serve as a technical mentor for analysts
What you’ll bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Statistics, or related field
  • Working towards ACAS/FCAS designation
  • Minimum 4 years of P&C insurance experience, including 2 years as a Senior Analyst preferred
  • Focus on enhancing customer experience
  • Curiosity to learn and explore new solutions
  • Strong mathematical and statistical skills
  • Problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Proficiency in programming; experience with Python, MS Access, SAS, VBA is a plus
