In this role, you will provide expert legal advice and representation across diverse labour and employment law matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to advocate for clients, conduct workplace investigations, and deliver practical solutions tailored to their needs.
Responsibilities:
• Offer comprehensive legal advice and representation on a variety of labour and employment law matters.
• Advocate for clients before courts, tribunals, and other legal forums to ensure their interests are effectively represented.
• Conduct thorough workplace investigations and deliver detailed reports with actionable findings.
• Develop and implement training sessions on workplace policies and employment law compliance.
• Collaborate closely with clients to understand their business challenges and provide tailored legal solutions.
• Assess risks, analyze legal exposures, and recommend sustainable courses of action.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and trust-building.
• Stay updated on changes in labour and employment law to provide informed advice.
• Draft, review, and negotiate employment contracts and other workplace agreements.
• Assist clients in resolving disputes through mediation and other alternative dispute resolution methods.
