We are hiring Plant Labourers at our Sofina Foods Inc. plant in Port Coquitlam, BC. No previous experience required! We will provide you with on-the-job training in all production areas.

  Dayshift or Afternoon Shift

• Hourly rate increases to $26.93 after two (2) years of employment.

Reporting to the Production Supervisor of the Department, the Production Worker is responsible for performing a variety of tasks that assists the further processing of quality products to meet Company and Customer standards. Position works in a fast paced, production line style environment, doing repetitive work.

• Responsible for processing bone‑out products by removing skin, excess fat and bones from meat portions.
• Responsible for further processing of bone‑in products to include tying and clipping whole birds, processing/grading wings, legs and thighs or back on legs.
• Pack meat products into trays or boxes and apply labels to cartons.
• Feed and unload processing machines.
• Maintain good housekeeping in their respective stations.
• Any other duties as required.

• Able to work in varying temperature environments ranging from hot to cold, doing repetitive tasks while standing during your work shift.
• Able to stand for extended hours.
• Must be able to communicate in English, written and spoken.
• Able to perform repetitive tasks, hand‑eye coordination, stand for extended periods, attention to details and work in a fast‑paced environment.
