Base pay range

CA $21.00/hr - CA $21.00/hr

Hours of Work: Monday – Thursday 8am – 5pm, Friday 8am – 4pm. We are looking for two Inventory Control Associates, and one of them will be required to work 5pm-11pm shift. Occasional evenings and weekends as required.

Location: Able to travel between 2930 14 th Ave, Markham and 65 Ferrier St, Markham

However, we have much more to accomplish for our customers, and we're looking for a culturally aligned Inventory Control Associate to join our dynamic team located in Markham.

Summary

The inventory control associate maintains inventory accuracy by performing cycle counts, tracking inventory transactions, investigating, and escalating discrepancies to continuously improve inventory policies and procedures. This role requires excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and complete scheduled daily cycle counts. Investigate, resolve, and report inventory discrepancies between physical stock and system records in a timely manner.
  • Check dates of E-liquid, Disposables/Pods for Best Before Date and report to Inventory Control Manager to facilitate removal or transfer of product as needed.
  • Inspect products for damage and ensure proper quality.
  • Bin-locate new products to assigned locations and re-locate the existing products to designated locations based on the Replenishment Report that is updated regularly.
  • Perform counts for Recalls and Non-Compliant products, investigate Non-Inventory Items from “Quarantine Area”, and report to Inventory Control Manager.
  • Perform counts for expired products, and sort by flavor for Government inspection.
  • Assist with RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) to determine the accurate count, compliance, and expiry of the product for restock.
  • Assist in implementation of inventory control procedures to improve inventory accuracy and operations efficiency.
  • Ensure that all operations comply with inventory control policies and procedures.
  • Provide support for inventory-related inquiries from other departments as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience And Background

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong math skills and adaptive problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • 2 years of direct experience with warehousing, shipping, receiving, and inventory control terms and preparations preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite—especially Excel
  • Experience in WMS/ERP considered an asset
  • Must be organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have no issues with heights
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Regular bending, lifting, and stretching
  • Driven to constantly improve and to assume more responsibilities
  • Constant learner preferred
