Temporary Security Receptionist

Securiguard Services is looking for commercial security guard in Markham, ON.

At Securiguard our mission is to make people feel safe. As a security professional, you'll contribute to the safety to our stakeholders by enforcing provincial and municipal regulations, enforcing policies and procedures, monitoring CCTV systems and operating security control room equipment, controlling access to the site, reporting any hazards or security breaches, and responding to incidents.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of security experience, w/ preferably in a Campus, High Profile Corporate Commercial Tower, Gov't environment, and/or a diploma in the field of security or law enforcement
• Customer Service experience is an asset
• Valid Ontario Security License
• Standard First Aid & Level C CPR with AED
• Must have a G2/G Class Driver's License & a personal vehicle
• Excellent communication skills
• Being Reliable & Punctual
• Working in a team environment
• Access Control & Key Audit/Management
• Comfortable with two-way radio communication/dispatch and/or CCTV software
• Responding to high volume calls and/or emails
• Front Desk Duties such as report documentation & administration
• Approaches a situation with a listening mindset and empathy
• Ability to problem solve, effective with crowd management and use discretion and good judgment
• Shares and adheres to our values - REACH (Respect, Empathy, Accountability, Courtesy and Honesty)

Pay rate: $19 - $20

Temporary Contract w/ Full Time Hours
