Windows Graphics Driver development Engineer

Manager (USA and Canada Staffing / Recruitment) – Semiconductor / VLSI / EDA / Embedded

Job Location – Markham, Canada, Hybrid (at least 3 days a week)

Project Duration – 12 Months

CA $61.00/hr - CA $71.00/hr

• 3 rounds at most, virtual would work
• Two rounds are MKM local time
• One round is SRDC (China) time zone (if #1 gets passed)
• WDDM and Graphics knowledges

Looking for a specialized software engineer who is passionate about developing the SW stack for the world-first class semi‑customized products. You will be a member of the S3 SW Driver team and will work on leading hardware and software technology.

The ideal candidate should be passionate about software engineering and possess leadership skills to drive sophisticated issues to resolution. Able to communicate effectively and work optimally with different teams.

• Work with GFX Driver Tech Lead for the assigned tasks and actively report progress
• Work on the Windows GFX Driver development
  , implementation and execution for both Pre‑Silicon and Post‑Silicon
• Triage, debug and fix internal and external issues
• Investigate and develop new ways to improve working efficiency
• Deliver commitments on a timely basis
• Apply a data‑driven approach to investigate and resolve problems
• Closely collaborate with upstream and downstream teams

• Ability to write high quality code with keen attention to detail
• Expert in Windows Driver Development
• Expertise in software development processes and tools such as debuggers, source code control systems and profilers
• Experience with GFX driver development is better
• Knowledge in Windows WDDM and Graphics rendering is a plus
• Effective communication and problem‑solving skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
