Security Consultant

What you'll be doing:

Ready to shape the future of cloud security? Atech is looking for a skilled Security Consultant to deliver cutting‑edge Microsoft security solutions and guide clients through their digital transformation journey.

You’ll provide technical expertise to ensure the successful delivery of Security projects and the onboarding to Atech's Security Managed Services for our customers. Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required standard. They are the go‑to person for technical knowledge and expertise across Security technologies.

In addition you will also:

• Understand client needs and design tailored cloud security strategies
• Implement Microsoft security services(Purview, Sentinel, Defender, Entra , Azure Arc)
• Onboard customers to Atech’s Managed Security Services
• Provide expert guidance on Cyber Essentials and cost‑optimised Sentinel deployments
• Lead project planning, risk mitigation, and technical documentation
• Collaborate across teams to align business goals and ensure smooth transitions
• Mentor junior consultants and drive continuous improvement
• Innovate with new technologies that benefit our clients and our team

• Are a Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect Expert and can demonstrate hands‑on experience in a cybersecurity team
• Are experienced working in IT with a particular focus on Microsoft Cloud security projects
• Have a deep knowledge of Microsoft Security solutions, plus Windows Server and/or Linux
• Have excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
• Are a clear communicator — able to explain complex concepts to non‑technical stakeholders
• Are detail‑oriented, adaptable, and comfortable juggling multiple projects
• Are familiar with project management tools and methodologies
